Short Trip on May 17th. Life has been rather busy, biking has been put on the back burner for a bit. This evening took a ride to Mary Mother of the Church then headed south on Cliff Road and over to Highland Park. Soccer had just finished, the visiting bus was pulling away, and the last of the soccer refs was leaving too. Highland Park is a nicely full feature park when a pleasant widing paved path. Working my way to Red Oak park the path leads into a neighborhood street. Taking that street over to Red Oak, one needs to cross Kennelly. Immediately you find there is NO side walk on the south side of the road and the shoulders are very narrow and cars go at various speeds. There is no crosswalk, but if you cross you either have to jump the curve or walk your bike over the curve to get to the next path. Then off to Red Oak park.
